Shag: “The High Roller Suite was inspired by the vintage signage on the Strip that I remembered from a childhood trip to Las Vegas in the 1970s. Most of the signs from the ‘50s and ‘60s were still intact at that time, but the acts appearing on the casino marquees were pure fantasy. I researched to make sure each entertainer depicted in the piece appeared at the respective casino with their name on the marquee, but I’m sure there was not one single night in Vegas when all these headliners performed.”

The Four Martini Lunch print was the first new print release at the Palms Casino Resort Shag Store. The Las Vegas Print Release Party was held on Friday July 1st. This Mad Men era print features the “three martini lunch” which was an indulgent lunch primarily popular with the Madison Ave advertising executives during the 1960s, allegedly meant to help boost creativity at work.

The 24″ by 15″ original painting “The Four Martini Lunch” was sold at Corey Helford Gallery’s Pink Elephants exhibition in 2013 for $11,000.

Released at Arizona Tiki Oasis on 30 April 2022. Inspired by the paintings of Edgar Leeteg and Doyle Harden, the serigraph is on black archival paper with a deckled edge. The title comes from a mythical bird in Hawaiian folklore that feasted on human flesh and had talons on each feather.

Official Magic Castle Hollywood print celebrating the history, mystery and merriment of the LA private clubhouse for magicians and magic enthusiasts.

Shag Store: “In the image, Milt Larsen, one of the founders of the castle, stands in front of the establishment he created with his brother and sister-in-law. Through the windows, well known magicians and their guests can be seen experiencing some of the spectacles and oddities one can only find in The Magic Castle.”

The Howard Johnson Resort in Anaheim created the suite of the future hotel room to pay homage to Disneyland’s past attraction (Monsanto) House of the Future – 1957 to 1967. The organization commissioned a new painting for the room which resulted in these 23-color limited edition serigraph prints.
