Original Art Watch
We can all dream of owning an original Shag painting in pride of place on our feature wall; until then we can look at those owned by others. This page lists original Josh Agle paintings (plus any very limited edition prints) listed for sale, whenever I notice them on the Internet.
No Idea Where to Place Them…
I wanted to upload photographs of original Shag paintings which I am unsure where to place. If you have more information then please send me an e-mail.
Cyclops at the Beat Club
Shag said it was one of the first 20 paintings he did and was sold at the Outre Gallery in Melbourne, Australia in 1997. I cannot find a record of this.
Paternity (?)
Photographed in 2022 but I cannot confirm the title (which was used for a 2015 painting) or find an originating show.
