Shag: “The four-gallon flask sculptures were conceived during the pandemic lockdown. I had just built some oversized soup can sculptures for my own house and started thinking about other things that I could do on a huge scale.
Inspired by the novelty flasks I had seen at flea markets and thrift stores, I wanted to create something that was large enough to function as a sculpture, but also actually worked and could hold whisky.
Four gallons of booze weighs almost 34 pounds, so at one point, I considered making a backpack for the sculptures but realized that since they were fine art, people probably wouldn’t be carrying them around. Instead, I decided on a satin drawstring bag, like a Crown Royal whisky pouch.
Each stainless steel flask was constructed by hand, so there will be minor imperfections and blemishes. The images on front and rear are silkscreened.”

The Tapa cement tile collection is comprised of five patterns in three color combinations.  Each tile can work independently or in combination with others in the assortment. Square cement tiles – four leaf, flower, large leaf, hourglass and petal. Each tile is hand-pressed.

Available individually (8″x8″) or as a montage. Also as a sample 4″x4″.

A boxed set of four European blown glass ornaments (Puffer, Tiki, Pineapple and Easter Island Tiki), sized 3” to 4 high and limited to 1500 sets. Designed by Shag and produced with The Tiki Farm by artists in the Czech Republic.

Wall mounted, fold-away bar, hidden behind an exclusive framed Shag print.

Constructed using white lacquered plywood with satin black lacquered poplar frame molding.

There are compartments to store bottles and glasses, and a door that folds down to create a table top. It can be installed into a recess or hung from its mounting rings.

The print is protected behind glass and is sealed from behind with silicone to protect it from spills. The picture hinges down and is held by two stainless-steel chains.

Released at the Starlite room, video still available. Released in March 2004.
