Other 2021 Group Shows

This page is for all 2021 group art shows not covered under existing posts. This post will be updated throughout the year as new shows are announced and take place. If you have information on new shows or pictures from current shows then please send me an e-mail so I can update the information. Note that Shag Store events are listed separately.

The 2021 group art events are below listed in chronological order.

Arizona Tiki Oasis 2021
Arizona Tiki Oasis (AZTO) was held at mid-century Valley Ho Resort in Old Town Scottsdale, Arizona, USA on 22nd-25th April 2021.  The event featured the release of Curse of the Lava God, the fourth in the Pop-art Exotic Wall Decor series, in addition to the Arizona Tiki Oasis 2021 event mug.

The Shag Store pop-up was from 12:00-14:00 on Saturday, April 24 in the Hotel Valley Ho presidential suite, room 500. Shag was present to greet visitors and sign his work.

Comic-Con@Home 2021
The Comic-Con San Diego event was replaced in 2021 with Comic-Con@Home, with a packed schedule from July 21-26. The Shag Store released “The Monumental Match” 13-color print, officially licensed by Toho Studios who own the rights to Godzilla.

Big Kahuna Bash 2021
Grumpy’s Bar & Grill Roseville, Minnesota held the Big Kahuna Bash 2021 on 31 July 2021 hosted by Shag.

Tiki Caliente 12
The 12th Tiki Caliente event at the Caliente Tropics Resort was held October 14-17 2021. The Shag Store held an art release in the lobby from 2-4pm on Saturday where Mr. Tiki Caliente was released. This is the third and last tribute print and is a 3-color serigraph in a limited edition of 99.

Shag@Trader Vic’s
Trader Vic’s held an event on Thursday, October 28, from 6-9pm to release a new Shag-designed Trader Vic’s Shag limited edition (500) Aloha shirt and menu cover. The event was free and open to the public.

DesignerCon 2021
DesignerCon is an annual art and design convention of over 300,000 square feet and features over 700 vendors, art and custom shows, live demonstrations, The show at the Anaheim Convention Center ran from 12-14 November. The Shag Store at booth 1622 featured the release of The Fur Afficionado serigraph, Scooter Girl “playable fine art sculpture”,  Moped prints and the Enchanted Tiki Mask.

Disney Books ‘N More Holiday Bazaar

Josh and Glen Agle attended the Disney Books ‘N More Holiday Bazaar at the Bob Baker Marionette Theater at 4949 York Boulevard in Los Angeles from 7pm to 9pm on Saturday December 18th 2021 to sign copies of their books.
