The opening night is on Friday 11th May from 6pm to 8pm with drinks provided by Campari Australia Official.

The early posters show the Josh Agle painting Bati Mon Nid from the exhibition A Seat in the Kingdom which was held in Australia during early 2017. This original acrylic on panel painting measures 24″ by 14.5” and retailed at the earlier exhibition for $16,900 AUD.
The later posters for the Beyond the Familiar: 21st Anniversary Show include a cropped image of the new Shag painting The Dream House, created for the exhibition, which celebrates architectural firm Holgar & Holgar.

The original acrylic paint on wooden panel painting The Dream House measures 20.5″ by 14.5″ and sold for AU$14,650 (approximately US$10,000).

The Shag Store pop-up store on Saturday 19th May will release the Aumauri Tapairu print. This three-color serigraph is the third release in the new Unthropology series depicting young women set in Polynesian Islands wearing traditional dress alongside traditional tiki carvings. The series began with Wahine Ata Ahua at Tiki Caliente 2017 and continued with Uha Rapa Nui at Tiki Oasis 2017. This picture is for the Cook Islands and shows aumauri, light silvery green fish up to three feet long, drying on the line. The tapairu, eldest daughter of a chief or beauty, can be seen sitting down. The print measures 8” by 10”, is hand numbered and signed in a limited edition of 100 copies, and retails for $99 USD at Tiki Caliente or $199 USD afterward.
