Shag introduced limited edition prints in 1999 to cater for the huge demand for his work. The first three were produced by Martin McIntosh’s Outré Gallery Press as offset lithography posters for the Dial H for Hipster exhibition. The three images selected were The Boardmeeting, Three Musicians, and the triptych Departure, Stopover, Arrival. The hand signed and numbered posters were successful but it was felt they lacked the vibrant color of the original paintings which is why subsequent prints are mainly serigraphs or occasionally giclées.

The Boardmeeting is the first offset lithograph print that was produced. This 23” by 17” print was created in a limited edition of 500 with a retail cost of $60 USD. The poster was hand signed and numbered but did not include a certificate of authenticity at this stage.

The second offset lithograph print is Three Musicians which measures 23” by 17” and was created in a limited edition of 500 with a retail cost of $60 USD. The poster was hand signed and numbered but did not include a certificate of authenticity at this stage.

The third offset lithograph print is the triptych Departure: Idlewild, Stopover: Borneo, Arrival: Ape City which measures 39” by 14.5” and was created in a limited edition of 500 (plus 25 artist proofs) with a retail cost of $150 USD. The poster was hand signed and numbered but did not include a certificate of authenticity at this stage.
