Pick of the Litter Exhibition
The Pick of the Litter exhibition of Josh Agle’s original paintings, artist proofs and limited edition prints was held at the DC Gallery in Denver, Colorado from June 4th to Jun 30th 2004. The artist reception was held on June 4th from 7pm to 10pm. The show included three new paintings, an exclusive show print, and twenty-five limited edition prints.
The Hitcher is an acrylic and vinyl paint on wood panel original painting by Josh Agle measuring 22” by 13”. The painting retailed for $5000 USD.
The House Guest is an acrylic and vinyl paint on wood panel original painting by Josh Agle measuring 20” by 15”. The painting retailed for $5000 USD.
The Litter is an acrylic and vinyl paint on wood panel original painting by Josh Agle measuring 12” by 8”. The painting retailed for $3500 USD.
The exclusive show print for the Pick of the Litter exhibition was The Melancholy Wolfman. This fourteen-color serigraph print measures 14” by 28” and was produced in a limited edition of 250 copies. The pre-release and opening reception cost was $175 USD after which it increased to $200 USD as a regular edition retail price.
There were twenty-five artist proofs of limited-edition prints included within the Pick of the Litter exhibition.
